the PSD for my iPad icon was bumped up a few notches to 2000x2000px, and every single aspect of it was completely redesigned to make use of the masses of extra space. in the PSD itself there are many things available to you. Apart from the app icons, every single part of this PSD was created from scratch by myself.
Realistic dock with icons & text. Background wallpaper. from [link] To make the screen blank, simply delete the folder named "Extras", located in the "Screen" group. Groups makes it easier to find what you need. New & Improved buttons. All layers named appropriately.
Update 22/03/2011 Made text labels bolder for easier reading.
Update 15/02/2011 Improved light reflection. Previously, there was saturated dissolving where this shine started to fade, it also made the image below it seem darker instead of lighter; this is now fixed. Fixed pixel on side of dock that went over the actual screen area. Changed battery to 100% - common sense, more appealing. Another new preview. Decreased file size, no change in quality. Added the four icons onto the homescreen, with realistic iPad shadows. Respectively as shown:

The iPad PSD by *xFino is not only a simple PSD icon of the iPad, it's a huge high-def 2000 x 2000 pixel-perfect representation of the iPad. Quality The iPad is extremely well done; every element of it is sharp and detailed. The frame looks beautifully smooth and there is some very light noise added to it for texturing. Even the edges look just perfect; not too sharp and not too smooth.
Usability The layers of the PSD are very organized. Everything is ordered into folders and they are all named accordingly.
The UI The UI of the iPad looks great, but it really seems incomplete. There are also some parts of it that aren't exactly like on the iPad. For example, on a real iPad, the dock is a lot more opaque, the top bar is transparent and there is always a light dark linear gradient underneath the dock.
But other than the little tweaks you could do on the UI, the whole screen, buttons and frame look very realistic and appealing. Good work!
